Masterplan for Sandy Park Farm

LHC were commissioned to prepare a masterplan in support of an Outline Planning Application for land adjacent to Sandy Park Farm, Exeter to a tight timescale. The scheme provided for a range of housing within a strategic green infrastructure network that mitigated site constraints, enhanced biodiversity and provided opportunities for sustainable transport links. The masterplan drew upon sustainable principles in the layout and arrangement of the development, with shared spaces providing movement corridors and integrated public open space for the wider community. The scheme was developed in accordance with Exeter’s Residential Design SPD, and was fully supported by Exeter’s Development Control Team.
