Following the success of the Sixth Form Centre for Kingsbridge Community College, LHC was asked to undertake a campus masterplanning exercise to include new English and Science blocks, together with demolition of the old English block to radically adjust the internal streetscape and make way for some great, new outdoor spaces for students.

Green, sustainable architecture, contemporary styling and modern materials have all contributed to a new look and feel for the existing campus.
The brand new 8-classroom English Centre opened in Sept 2010. Light and airy classrooms, passive ventilation and double-height entrance atrium contribute to a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere and a contemporary architectural addition for this ‘Outstanding’ school.
