LHC’s Charity Wine Tasting Challenge was a great success

Seventy colleagues and friends from around the industry joined us for our charity Wine Tasting Challenge last Thursday, 10th October, at Ocean Studios, Royal William Yard.

We enjoyed a brilliant evening of good food, fine wine and networking. We tested our know-how and picked up tasting tips from multi award winning wine expert Yannick Loue of Le Vignoble.

Organiser of the event on behalf of LHC Design, Christina Channing said:

It was such a pleasure to host this event and see everyone enjoy themselves! Yannick and Lauren did a fantastic job, going from table to table to talk about and pour the wines, giving helpful tips to the participants on what to look for.

Yannick provided the wines and ran the challenge to test guests’ knowledge of grape, origins, vintage and price. The challenge was won by the team made up of Paul Osborne of LHC Design & Alan Swan of Peter Brett Associates. Second place went to Phil Thornsby & Paul Stephens of Hoare Lea.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended and their generous donations! Also, thank you to those who couldn’t make it, yet donated either money or a raffle prize. Raffle prizes and winners are listed below.  and the final amount raised for Young Devon will be announced shortly.
