LHC Design’s big sponsored challenge for 2019 – in aid of Young Devon – will be another tough one! We’ve devised our own version of the iconic Three Peaks Challenge, but without leaving the Westcountry!
Our Three South West Peaks Challenge will see us climb the highest points on Exmoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor and cycle the 90 miles between all three.
On 14 September, fifteen of us will set off to walk up Dunkery Beacon on Exmoor, then cycle to Dartmoor to hike to Higher Willhays, and then cycle on to Bodmin Moor for the final climb up Brown Willy. The highest points of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall plus 90 miles of cycling through the hilliest bits of the three counties in just one weekend
We’ve chosen to support the brilliant charity Young Devon this year, because we believe the hopes and dreams of our region’s vulnerable young people are worth championing and investing in. Drive in any direction in Devon and you will find young people that Young Devon is housing, training or supporting. The 4,000+ young people they work with every year sit at the centre of everything that they do. Read more about the great work they do to prevent homelessness, improve mental health, provide skills training and give young people a voice here.
