Science Park Centre named Office of the Year at Property Awards

The winners of the Insider‘s South West Property Awards 2016 were revealed at an awards ceremony on 6th October at the Bristol Marriott Hotel, and we’re delighted to announce that LHC’s new Science Park Centre on Exeter Science Park scooped the top prize in the prestigious Office Development of the Year category.

We’re proud to say that two of LHC’s recent office developments made the four-strong shortlist in this category, the Science Park Centre and the new Somerset Energy Innovation Centre on Woodlands Business Park near Bridgwater.

The Somerset Energy Innovation Centre aims to be a national hub for innovation and collaboration where tenants and service users can engage with the Hinkley Point supply chain, identify wider low carbon opportunities and develop productive new partnerships.

Exeter’s new Science Park Centre, already the winner of the Michelmores Project of the Year 2016, is the beating heart of the emerging Exeter Science Park, truly a landmark building which can be seen from far and wide in the East Devon countryside. It has been designed to be a centre for successful science-based business development, driving growth in science, technology, engineering and medicine related enterprise in the region.
