Planning submissions and approvals round up Nov/Dec 2015

Clyst St Mary Homes Approved

LHC’s detailed architectural and landscape design for 80 homes at Clyst St Mary, Exeter on behalf of Cavanna Homes has been awarded planning approval. The development will consist of a mixture of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties in close proximity to the village centre, well positioned in relation to employment sites and facilities on the east side of Exeter.

The local countryside will be complimented by the good quality, low to medium quality density housing, set within the landscape alongside a village green and informal areas of public space and reflecting the characteristics of local housing. Valuable hedgerows and boundary trees will be retained and enhanced whilst a new pedestrian and cycle route will be created from the west of the site.

LHC is part of the project team which has submitted a planning application for the partial redevelopment and improvement of St James Park, home of Exeter City FC.  LHC has been responsible for an enabling development of approximately 320 student beds on land behind the Big Bank Stand and two adjoining pieces of land.
