September 2009 – LHC win high-profile Exeter Science Park project
The design of the first phase of the high-profile Exeter Science Park has been awarded to LHC Architecture. The site, close to the airport and the M5/A30 hub will offer an excellent environment for technology based businesses and is one of the most significant investments into South West England's rapidly expanding knowledge economy.
Phase one of five proposed phases will include an hotel, a management centre, a science park centre and further grow-on space plus infrastructure, transport hub and landscaping.
This landmark development is being driven by a partnership of Devon County Council, East Devon District Council, Exeter City Council, the Met Office, South West Regional Development Agency and the University of Exeter. The developer is Eagle One.
