March 2009 – Regeneration study for Dawlish town centre awarded to LHC Urbanism
LHC has been awarded the contract to conduct a regeneration study for Dawlish town centre and the wider parish by Members of the Dawlish Regeneration Project Management Team after interviews in late March 2009.
LHC Urbanism will undertake a study to consider the potential for the regeneration of Dawlish town centre and the wider parish, the potential benefits to residents and businesses of linking the satellite communities of Cockwood, Cofton, Dawlish Warren and Holcombe, including improved communication links and identifying opportunities for revitalizing the economy.
It will investigate the feasibility of and the opportunities offered by the regeneration of sites within the Town Centre of Dawlish and the wider parish.
Work will commence at the beginning of April 2009 and could take approximately six months.
