Work is complete on the refurbishment of Exmouth Town Hall into offices for East Devon District Council. LHC used the existing large extension to accommodate open plan, flexible office spaces; while the original building now contains the public interface zone – Reception, a mix of self-service and one-to-one booths, confidential meeting spaces, public WC and waiting space.
The remainder of the ground floor and upper floors provide a mix of flexible open plan, and smaller pockets of working space dictated by the irregular shape of the building. LHC’s interior and architectural teams utilised Worksmart data and worked closely with council staff to inform space planning and requirements.
A palette of fresh greys, greens and blues has been chosen, together with contemporary furniture and desking.
